Problem Solving Tools provides an overview of a logical process for identifying, prioritizing and solving problems. Through the use of the tools presented participants learn to remove the emotion and bias from the process while focusing on facts and options to make effective choices regarding solutions.

The course includes instruction in the use of Ishikawa Diagrams, Brainstorming, Affinity Diagrams, Flow Chart Analysis, Cause and Effect Analysis, Selection Criteria, Measures and Tracking.

This workshop will provide you with the skills to:

Define the problem

Identify the cause of the problem

Describe the problem’s impact

Generate solutions

Choose the correct solution

Implement the solution and monitor the results
